Thank you for your kind words and sharing your book success, Brenda! Congratulations, I'm thrilled for you and yes I would love for our paths to cross again. It was amazing how we were able connect at that ICF conference and funny how I referenced dancing to the 80's music in this post and that is exactly what we did!

Thanks Diane, I like it! Please let me know how I can support you as I am a recovering perfectionist myself (and it still rears its ugly head once in a while). I now strive for excellence rather than for perfection or others' approval (it's a variation on the NTBL theme, for sure). And yes, one thing at a time is smart!

I love this Paula and it is so true. I have given up running and diet coke several years ago myself. Just getting started on the golf but some days I wonder?

I did finally let go of the idea that writing a book was NOT in my future. I published my book in December
https://www.amazon.com/Project-You-Beyond-School-Success/dp/1540303012/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481233392&sr=8-1&keywords=Brenda+Jo+March
and I'm excited about empowering even more young adults.

I am working on "NTBL" in 2017 too. Now you have me wondering what else I need to let go of? If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

As always thanks for the great article. Hope you are well and that our paths cross again one day, when we can dance barefoot in the sand to an amazing rock band:-)

Enjoy! Brenda

Great article! I am also very impressed with how Taylor Swift handles herself and yields her power. She is always classy and always kind, but she says what she feels needs to be said directly and without apology. Shaming is becoming rampant in our society and our corporate cultures and I have personally experienced the damage it does to trust in a relationship. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this important topic!

I totally agree Paula. Because our strengths tend to come to us naturally, we don't realize how unique they are. We assume "everyone can do that". We do need visionary coaches to help us see our true potential. Good for you to share your "super power"!
